What are they looking for?

Haxby & Wigginton Youth & Community Association is a small local charity which aims to actively promote the wellbeing of residents in Haxby, Wigginton and surrounding area. HWYCA manage and maintain Oaken Grove Community Centre and run a successful youth provision, running three sessions every week during term time, for age groups between 8 and 19, plus holiday sessions where funding allows.

We bring together local residents, authorities, and organisations to advance education, promote social welfare, and create opportunities for recreation, learning, and community connection, through our vibrant, accessible community hub.

Overall, we are looking for someone who is passionate about ensuring Haxby and Wigginton have a variety of services and opportunities for local residents, and keen for our young people to have access to regular activities and resources.
